Cahaba Association Mission Trip

A Team of 11 from Cahaba Mission Association will be leaving on Saturday for Nicaragua. The Mission emphasis will be to; 1.) build the 2nd house in Kilombo for a needy family, 2.) Share the gospel with the children and families in Kilombo and surrounding area, and 3.) distribute Bibles, clothes and other donations to those in need.

The "Circle of Friends" ministry has been busy making childrens' clothes and other garmets to be distributed during this trip. So far, it is estimated they have sewn over 1000 pieces of clothing and hand made garments to be given to the needy in Nicaragua ! Priase be to God for this ministry !

Please partner with us ( beginning now ) to pray for these items specifically for their Team: 1.) Safety in traveling and building this next week, 2.) The people would be receptive to the Good News they are to bring and donations to distribute, 3.)That the building permission would be granted before they arrive, 4.) That all of the Team members would experience God's love and provision for them in a special way and 5.) mostly, that God would be glorified in the efforts of this Team and their service to Him.

We can't wait to hear the exciting news of what God will accomplish this week for His Glory !!

Many thanks to all of you for your continued support of this ministry,
PV

College Park Mission Trip

All,
This note is from Dan Herwig and is a summary of the trip they will be on 6/4 thru 6/11. Please be in prayer for their Team during this time.

College Park summer team will soon be heading to Nicaragua again. Our team will be there from June 4-11. Pastor Joe Bartemus will be the team leader and I will be assisting him. This is one of the largest team ever....21 team members! The team members are: Pastor Joe and Cathy Bartemus, Dan Herwig, Cheryl and Matthew Loy, Mary Koss, Robert Morris Jr., Benjamin and Jacqueline Milius, Matt, Emmalyne, and Luke Foutty, Sarah Elmore, Garrett Bouyett, Wanda Berger, Elizabeth Bergstrom, Cheryl Cleveland-Cox, Lee and Jacob Perry, Greg Enas, and Karen Jones.

Mayor Navas came to the La Concha church to let us know that the city is going to build a pumping station that will bring water near to the church. Mayor Navas has asked CPC for help to buy the 250 pipes that will bring the water from the pumping station to individual houses. We hope to meet this need on Sunday, June 6 while our team is there. Pastor Joe Bartemus will present our gift to Pastor Ines who will then present this gift to Mayor Navas as the church's contribution to this project. The church will celebrate this special event with a special lunch that will be serve by our team!

Please be in prayer for La Concha that our trip will again encourage and bless the families of La Concha!
